That’s when I learned a painful lesson: Traffic is useless if your bucket is leaking. We had the eyeballs, but we didn’t have the conversion mechanics perfectly tuned. We eventually had to shut it down. But that “failure” became my superpower. It taught me that Vanity Metrics (clicks, impressions) don’t pay the bills. Only Revenue does.
Inside the Agency "Content Factory"
Armed with my startup experience, I entered the corporate agency world, eventually leading teams as a Senior SEO Specialist at top agencies.
I mastered the highly technical side of Search—diving deep into patents to uncover Semantic SEO, Entity Stacking, and the E-A-V Model. I realized 90% of the industry was stuck in 2015, stuffing keywords into thin pages.
But I also saw a disturbing business model. Big agencies would sign clients on massive retainers using their “experts,” but the moment the ink was dry, the work was handed off to junior interns. They operated like factories—churning out generic, AI-spun garbage to protect their profit margins.
